Adding a compatible ink cartridge to a Dell printer? - dell cartridge error1203

If you have a compatible cartridges (not Epsom) to my old Epson printer I was able to separate the pressure so that it can be printed. Now, using an ink cartridge is compatible with Dell, I can not able to find to do it and do not print - to say that it does not install cartridge. Any clues?
