Drop Oil Immersion On Both Sides Of Slide Why Oil Immersion Lens? :( Confused?

Oil Immersion Lens? :( Confused? - drop oil immersion on both sides of slide why

Why do some microbiologists have put a drop of oil on both sides of a slide for the use of the lens immersion oil? (Among the film and the capacitor between the lens and the blade and the front lens)

Since oil has the same refractive index of glass. Thus, to the light gas-oil-in-oil film and the target is not broken, as if they traveled by plane through the atmosphere with the aim of glide (through many different means would pass) with different refractive indices. Thus, there is more light into the lens and the best resolution.
